Nebraskan Josh Rouse’s freewheeling feelgood vibes may not appeal to death metal aficionados but his ‘Nashville’ album from 2005 is a quiet masterpiece. (Check out the atmospheric video for ‘Quiet Town’, shot in Spain).
Rouse is joined in this double-headliner by California-born folk-rocker Grant-Lee Phillips, whose former band Grant Lee Buffalo were a regular visitor to these shores back in the mid-‘90s. Check out last year’s ‘Widdershins’ album. (See the video for ‘King Of Catastrophes’).
