Pic #3, is that The Shatt literally kissing Paul Williams behind?
The book will sell a few hundred copies, mostly in week #1, mostly bought on (at our) expense accounts by politicians to see if they get a mention.
“Journalist” and “Paul Williams” are words that shouldn’t be alone by themselves.
Add “pretend”, “wannabe” or “poo” as required.
As much as it pains me to say, as I cannot abide the garda bottom sniffer that is Paul Williams, he is the image of Alan Rickman in the above photo
Rickman? The thinking woman’s man-crumpet? Get thee to a specsavers woman, or better still to a neurosurgeon, ask about prosopagnosia.
Indeed, the very man, hence my reluctance to make such a comparison. I’m ashamed now for making it. I’ll have to sit in the corner and chant whatever it is heathens do to absolve themselves
Oh god he does. Is it a deliberate move on his part, I wonder.
No milkshake?
…heard him on the radio this morning…his day in the court of public opinion…he should have formed a ‘friends of Alan’ group…
He’d need to find some friends first
He has lots of friends.

Shatter must have very few friends if he has to ask (pay?) Paul Williams to launch his book.
Paul Williams blessing may be akin to smearing canine faecal matter on the product you are hawking.
God knows he talks a lot of the bovine variety.
Has Williams been treated with those pluggy-in-hair thingys? – he used to be very transparent on top.
(My missus reckons Leo’s been having them as well!
No doubt what it contains is whole truth and nothing but truth and has the imprimatur
of Paul Williams that vouches for it……was Maurice McCabe or John Wilson invited
Sweet mother of God, have just visited the local book store to have a browse and at least it’s given me a laugh. The inside front cover had me in stitches. This is what it says (from Amazon):
“On 6 May 2014 two reports wrongly condemning the conduct of Alan Shatter, the Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence, were delivered to government buildings in Dublin. Pressurised by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Shatter resigned from cabinet the next day, his reputation and political career in tatters. A frenzied media and political reaction to alleged bugging of the Garda Ombudsman Commission’s offices and an avalanche of allegations of Garda corruption put Shatter in the eye of a storm. He was wrongly accused of covering up espionage and corruption, ignoring concerns of whistle-blowers, spying on political opponents, and of undermining the administration of justice. Damaged by false narratives and political manoeuvring by Kenny, Shatter, a TD for over thirty years, lost his Dáil seat in 2016.
Pilloried by opposition politicians, journalists and commentators, targeted by a cabinet colleague and condemned without a fair hearing, Shatter was abandoned by his Fine Gael party colleagues. From the penalty points controversy, to the discovery of unknown phone tapping in Garda stations, to the explosive Charleton Report, this is the extraordinary inside story of a cataclysmic period in Irish politics.
Compelling and sardonic, Frenzy and Betrayal is the deeply disturbing story of how a dedicated, truthful and progressive Irish cabinet minister was falsely accused of wrongdoing and unjustly hounded from office in twenty-first-century Ireland, and his traumatic five-year battle for vindication and the truth.”
No mention of Maurice McCabe above. And no index, so you’ll have to read the thing to see if you’re on the “liars” or “twats” list. They say it hasn’t been flying off the shelves, but we’ll a better idea when the charts come out next week.
