Independent farmers protest outside a Dawn Meats factory (pics 1-2) and an ABP meat factory (3-4) as talks between processors and farm organisations about beef prices and the Mercosur deal continue.
According to the Irish Farmer’s Journal, protests have also taken place at the gates of ABP in Cahir, County Tipperary; Kepak Ennis, County Clare and Meadow Meats, Rathdowney, County Laois.
