To celebrate National Services Day, members of the emergency services, including Defence Forces, Gardai. and St. John Ambluance, took part in a public display of their skillz – to awestruck tykes – after parading through the centre of Dublin.

Remember that Garda that was arrested last week for nicking weapons from work? According to reports in yesterday’s papers, “The weapons, among them assault and sniper rifles, were recovered from the home of a garda who was arrested… [with] various types of ammunition. Grenades were also found, along with official identification cards belonging to a number of female gardai”
The guards shouldn’t be allowed near guns. They shoot unarmed suspects and let weapons fall out of the back of police cars in to busy streets.
