Behold: the McLaren 620R – an entirely road-legal race car. Based on the track-only 570S GT4, adjusted with lightweight dampers, stiffer springs, braking system components from the Senna and McLaren’s Inertial Push seven-speed transmission for extra fast gear changes. The aero pack and massive rear wing of the 570S GT4 is retained, as is a retuned 610bhp version of the V8 engine.
With a 0-100km/h time of 2.9 seconds, it’s not clear what road this thing was designed for, but there you are.
