Inis Mór, Aran Islands, County Galway.
Scenes from the biggest-ever Tedfest featuring star turns from Fr Damo (Joe Rooney – above far left)) and Eoin McLove (Patrick McDonell – above second right).
The annual gathering is now in its 14th year.
In fairness.

Maybe they like the misery.
I threw a father Ted themed party in Paris once, I went all out, complete with a dead Jack in the cave/ cellar, random bricks on string, bunting and whiskey in tea cups cocktails,it was a roaring success , I got a load of froggies hooked on it, although alot of the nuns were a bit more French maid truth be told
They should have invited Graham Linehan along to give his take on the whole transgender conversation. I hear he’s great craic these days.
I just wretched at those dirty white socks… can’t get them out of my head now.
white socks belong on tennis courts and nowhere else
Did you not check out BT’s new men’s range here the other day?
How far in off the road, ( as my mother used to say), are you?
Shudder!
They’re not white socks – they’re very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very light brown.
Is it not all a bit sad
regurgitating their roles – which in fairness were pretty minor anyway
TedFest is a good idea n’ all
and I think Dermot Morgan should have an entire day (off) named after him, like Paddy has
But still
I don’t even know what Rooney and the other lad have done
Spar ad mebbe
Don’t feed the Gondolas?
Didn’t they name a series of talks after him?
is that what that App is on the telly

Rooney had a good part in Killinaskully, which ran for 5 years. But yeah, I think this Father Ted re-enacting is overkill but the Brits love it. If an English person comes out with an Irish-ism directed straight at ya, from this show or from Mrs. Brown, I find no reaction is better than any.
