   I get this- seats are booked because they can be. Regular commuters actually stand for 1/4 of a journey before sitting down because ar$ehole ‘tourists’ can’t be bothered finding their booked seat. And then if they do eventually turn up, the people who really pay for this service- the daily commuter- have to stand again.

   Private transport companies know that it will lose them business which is why they don’t do it so pre-booking of seats on IR and NIR should be banned.
