Behold: the Mazda RX-10 Vision Longtail – a concept render by Maximilian Schneide of a mid-engined supercar inspired by the legendary 787B Le Mans-winning racer.
The design ‘envisages’ a hybrid 2.3l turbocharged ICE coupled to two electric motors at the front wheels for a combined 1,030bhp and a top speed of 436km/h.
Admittedly, something of a ‘what if’, but still.

Had one of those Mazdas after a trade-in on my Toyota Corrolla with 250,000 miles.
Rubbish for towing trailer.
Sadly cannot find the link, but I keep thinking of the Lotto ad which had a farmer in a Ferrari towing a horse trailer, while laughing his head off! I think it was about the time the Lotto jackpot went to 2 million.
Italian engineering, I guess :)
