To be honest, anyone who is using take aways or deliveries that aren’t in desperate need of it are being selfish.
Any takeaways should only be used for people who actually need it, who either can’t cook, or can’t get to the shops to buy food. Not some fatty washing his burger down with a beer

this oul pandemic has brought out the best in some, and the absolute worst in others.
miserable, curtain-twitching begrudgery is alive and well. slap on joe duffy and revel in the misery-porn somewhere else, you joyless bottomhat.

The takeaways need to be selling enough food to be economically viable. If they can only sell to “essential” workers then many of them may close. Leave them alone.

[for the sake of full disclosure I did go the chipper once since the closedown]

I don’t understand this. It’s not like they are Krispy Kremes or anything.

    :-)

I imagine it is as much people wanting to get out of the house, as anything else.

loads of places only hanging on to business through delivery,
I know my buddies at PANG have a great lockdown menu, shameless plug I know, ;)
and they are just one example of people not giving up on a business they have put so much into,
support your local business, get deliveries

Before ye get all fulla yerselves
looking down yere noses at lads spending their sunny afternoon off in a queue for Snack Boxes and Bun Burgers

    SuperMacs have a 40m + spend with local suppliers, usually;
    per year
and remains 100% in Irish hands

Ok, they’re not new Tech, or Artists, or beautiful enough to be pictured at the Iftas, or at a Hozier gig

People are allowed to do this under Bunburgereacht na hEireann sure, but does “underlying causes” ring a bell – obesity causes how much HSE spend? #SaltingSite

They’re Bogger Burgers keeping Kathryn Thomas and OT in business. They gotta go.

        They are in their Arxx

the likes of Kathryn Thomas and OT, in fact the whole soft handy entertainment media would find something else to make a business out’ve
whether tis gardens or holidays or yoga or window cleaning
Ploughing, Driving, Surfing or the other thing

They’d still scrounge out some bit of celebrity and free promotion for what ever side line they can carve off for themselves

Just ’cause at the moment tis out of other peoples bodies and what they put into them, doesn’t mean that’s exclusively their specialist area of telling us how to do, what to do, and when

+2, even though I’m not personally into fast food, Supermacs benefits farmers, employees and busy people.
