Calling for public transport to be prioritised post-Covid 19, @joefingalgreen says, “We need to hold steady on plans for investment in public transport infrastructure. The economy will recover and our transport systems need to be ready for it.”🚍🚊🚲🚶♂️https://t.co/c1YO2OQYpK

Meanwhile…
Earlier, Fianna Fáil’s John McGuinness said Fine Gael, Fianna Fail and Sinn Féin should “get together and form a government”.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Today with Sarah McInerney, Mr McGuinness said: “Fine Gael lost the election, Fianna Fáil lost seats, and Sinn Féin had a good election. I see no good reason why, in these economic circumstances that we shouldn’t have a government made up of these three parties. They should get on with it and start talking.”
He added: “It is ridiculous that we would spend so long talking to two single parties without exploring the input of others.”

And the headbangers protesting in the first picture are…..
Just Debenhams workers who were laid off without notice.
They are looking to be paid the wages and redundancy money that is due to them.
Imagine!
The cheek of them wha?
Statutory redundancy
Happened to me after the last crash
The thing I just wonder is where is the money going to come from for the recovery ?
Just wondering how the short man Jonny rohan is going to clean his slate again ?
Will it be mama?
Will mama remember the bottle of covid beer and —k you out burst from him in cape town
Count the number of incomplete building projects he has billions of other peoples money and no certain market for them when completed
And the massive recession looming
The fun is about to start as attention starts focussing on getting open and if there is money to switch on the switch
…a collective name for greens?
A smugness..
I believe 6 or more is called a condescension.
Collective name for anti-Greens: a blindness.
We’re dancing on a volcano. The ice caps on the North and South Pole are melting, and the climate is going to deconstruct to an extent that human life will be impossible, if we don’t slash our carbon use – by stopping using private cars almost completely, by switching electricity to renewables, by retrofitting homes and building only homes with very low energy use.
Here’s an image to play with: the permafrost will melt if the ice caps go. This will turn virtually all land into a soupy, marshy surface. Roads and buildings will collapse into this. Farming? Forget it. Mass famine and mass extinction of humans and other mammals follows. Who knows if even sea life will survive.
John McGuinness talks a lot of sense.
He should be leading FF.
Aodhan being catapulted into middle age; the lockdown, leadership battle defeat have not been kind.
The most effective way is fire Martin and elect a new FF leader and then form a
Government with the Shinners and let Mr Varadkar try his luck in opposition, what
we have had is a two fingered salute to the electorate since early February clinging
to power using the CV 19 crisis, they have not addressed the real issue, how
many have died in private nursing homes and how come so many in the health
care sector got infected due to the lack of personal protection, and as to the
testing to screen out infection vectors, this has been a disaster.
Truth in the news
Is no fupper in that country wearing a mask?
