Looks like the NCH cost will increase by 40% according to Tom Parlon. BAM must be rubbing their hands in glee. 40% = ?% in reality.
Time to level the site and turn it into a car park or else sell on to build apartments. Varadkars Vanity project is a waste of money and should be able to be built a lot cheaper. This is Varadkars equivalent to the Bertie Bowl only with an astronomical price tag.

WHO’s bias towards China has been obvious since last December. But what I find downright sinister is how the social media platforms like YouTube are banning anything which challenges the WHO narrative. In effect, silicon valley is dancing to the tune of the Chinese Communist Party.

In other news, the knives are coming out for Eamon Ryan. The Green Party must have a leadership election. One of the The feelings within the Green Party is that he’s run his course, and that a more mature leader is now required….Catherine Martin.

I wonder has Dan Boyle any insights, or will he just faff around as per usual?

Ha! I read that headline and assumed the greens wanted Micheál Martin as leader. the notion didn’t give me a moments pause for thought

…well…Eamon Ryan certainly want Mehole as Taoiseach…and he’s managed to convince the others in the parliamentary group even though they know they were elected by people who assumed they were part of the movement tor change…

I voted for the Green party and I’d be happy to see them in coalition with anybody. You can do more sitting at the table than sniping from across the chamber.

…you might as well go for it now because the people who believed you represented part of the movement for change realise they have been betrayed…how many of those people who put their faith in the democratic process will be willing to do so again…

I’m not a member of the Green Party. I’m just a voter so I don’t know what people believe I represent a movement for change.

A movement for change in environmental policies, which certainly won’t happen over four or five years on the sidelines.

…reconcile it whatever way you please but you are merely making up the numbers and maintaining the right wing status quo…admittedly, that’s what half the electorate voted for but half didn’t…and the half that didn’t included the greens in their preferences…

          2. bisted

…I have no doubt that they will display that selfless, steely resolve that we have become accustomed to from the greens…

Worldwide food shortages forecast and the UK doesn’t produce enough food to feed itself – what a superb bargaining position there.

It’s hardly payback to announce something that has been obvious since before the negotiations began. Without a trade deal there will be tariffs on all goods going in both directions. Avoiding said tariffs is sort of the point in doing a trade deal. Of course we still have tariff free trade with the rest of the EU to fall back on because, you know, the EU has our back
