Irish retailers were, by international standards, very slow to get online. At least one positive out of this is they will finally catch up with the rest of the planet.

Yep – a good idea. The only reservation I’d have is that the Leo’s are dishing it out – Local Enterprise Offices. Funding seems to be snapped up quickly by the same old faces when the LEO’s are involved in money distribution. Secretive about when the funds come into the LEO, and when you apply it’s ‘sorry all the funding has been used up this time – there won’t be any more until January/February’ yet reports in local press reveal that it’s the same businesses who get funding time after time. Obviously tipped off about the arrival of funds.

It’s notable that the LEO’s don’t list the beneficiaries of their grant support.
