Please Share! This is a song my son Jude made as part of a campaign to stop his school – Firhouse Educate Together Secondary from being moved to City West. This would involve a journey of an hour to an hour fifteen each morning and afternoon.
Jude is on the Autism Spectrum and has had various difficulties over the years. Jude loves this school – it is amazing in so many ways. If this goes ahead I’m not sure that it will be possible for him to continue there.

Not to put to fine a point on it, it might have been the perfect opportunity for Jude and some of his buddies to sing the song.
Why is the entire school moving so far?
It’s one of those schools that had fire safety/building reg issues. I think the move is to allow works to go ahead. It is a big upheaval especially for special needs students. A primary school was in the same unit last year for it.
Sorry appears they are waiting on a new school to be built. I wish them the best of luck that’s a long slog.
