Free Friday, September 18?

As part of Culture Night 2020, Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge, County Kildare will launch ART FEEDS… a collaborative exhibition by Kildare Art Collective featuring the work of 31 artists, poets, musicians and writers.

Developed as a platform to process and document lives throughout lockdown, ART FEEDS explores ‘themes we have all become only too familiar with in recent times such as isolation, home, and the natural world’.

You can watch a series of interviews with participating artists throughout September 18 on Riverbank’s social media channels and view the full exhibition online at 6pm [at link below].

Hopefully they’re being paid. Too much of the heavy lifting in keeping the Arts alive, particularly in theatre, is done by artists working for free. In doing so they make themselves and their endeavours amatuer while at the same time letting the arts council off the hook. Stop working for free.
