  1. Harry

Nuada was the first king of the Tuatha Dé Danann an excellent link here:-

Jim Fitzpatrick is one of Ireland’s most criminally underrated living artists and all round good egg, his artwork and his album cover artwork is superb. The next time you are having a burger (if ever again!) in Captain America’s in Grafton St, Dublin, you can admire some of his early Captain America comic book ( in the best possible way “comic book”) art on the walls.

  2. Slightly Bemused

When I was going to college I (ahem) occasionally went to certain book shops. Some had these flip type poster holders that I loved to wander through, and one shop had a complete section for Jim Fitzpatrick’s work.
One day I came out, and was actually intending to get to class, but there was someone doing something on the path just outside Trinity College. He had rolled out a very large sheet of paper, taped it down, and had started doodling in chalk.
Turned out it was Jim himself, and watching him work was worth every demerit I got for not turning up for class.
It was a beautiful picture of Nuada’s sister Nuala.
I was a college student, but to this day I regret not being able to ask the man if I could take that picture home
