Following a break this year…
…The Fidelity Beer Festival will return in 2021 to the Round Room in Dublin’s Mansion House on July 16-17.
Leah Kilcullen writes:
Fidelity will once again bring world-class breweries to the city, many for the first time, for two evening tasting sessions over two days
Tickets cost €62.50 plus fees, which includes all your beer samples (no messing around with tokens!) and your tasting glass, and will be on sale here from tomorrow at 9am…

Covid restrictions will still be in place in July. Why bother advertizing this?
all the kids are getting giddy over Longitude – july 2
Teenager says the line up is cat
and refused tickets
and now has it into her head she’s tagging along with me over to the UK for Blondie
in her ***** she is
I’m choosing to believe that this post is a competition. And that the question, to win two free tickets, is to count the number of human females in the 2019 photograph.
Is the answer four?
Hehehehehe
Human female beer nuts do exist.
Here’s a wonderful beer blogger from the North of England.
Writes like a dream.

bet she’s a biggish lass
By jove, I like the sound of that.
‘ Nearly every beer will be doing its first ever pour in Ireland, with some of the breweries also previously never available here. ‘
Fair dues to their optimism and given the price of grog in Dublin that’s not a bad deal for an evening on the turps.
To be even thinking about a jolly like this is great news.
Aye, we’re working away securing some fantastic breweries for 2021, there’s going to be some amazing beer. And as we said, no tokens or any of that messing around, once you’re in the door you can sample until your heart’s content.
Good luck to you and hope it goes with a bang.
And hopefully not provided by an endless array of murky IPA railway arch hop bombs ….
Sounds like a similar format to Whiskey Live so I’ll be there!
i reckon i could ‘sample’ sixty quid’s worth no problem.
I went to one in the point (?) yonks ago. for the entry fee – which wasn’t cheap – you got iirc 10 “tokens”
I, like most, assumed a token = a pint
big disappointment
a token was around 1/6 of a pint – literally a mouthful
I went to the foodie festival “Taste” which was a misnomer. Should have called “Aroma” – 8 quid for a sugarcube sized piece of lamb.
Least on that occasion I got the entry tickets for free.
was it the RDS BB? I won a couple of tickets on here through white hag to go, again a few years ago now.
no , not the rds. but now that I think again, not the point either. convention centre maybe ?
How big is the glass is the real question here.
