This morning/afternoon.

Via the Irish Times:

Responding to the outpouring on social media, O’Sullivan said on Twitter that he was “overwhelmed by all the love from Ireland tonight”.

When asked about his experience on RTÉ’s Today programme on Thursday, O’Sullivan said it had been “surreal beyond belief”.

“Imagine rioters swinging from the chandelier in Dáil Éireann,” he said.

The Cahirciveen man said he was fortunate not to have encountered any aggression from the protesters, but he knew of some colleagues who had been in “difficult situations” during the unrest.

for decades they’ve made it harder and harder to get a normal education. they know nothing of the outside world because the news just doesnt report it. never has. these along with other factors have ensured they have millions upon millions of proud dummies. trump saw that and mobilised them and made them voters, to do whatever he wills them to. the country is responsible for all of this. trump. his supporters, they’re all the result of the countries decades of failing its people.

The awakening for me was the way they conduct elections
      Seeing those polling centres
      and those count centres
and that their Secretary for the State of….. aka their Returning Officers are elected officials, and therefore main party nominees with the party backing and machine

the entire apparatus of voting is undermined, under-resourced and far to scatty, district by district, State by State
They have one National Election, One. Yet the conditions for voters to qualify to cast a ballot in that same single election vary from one parish to another
Same for the methods and logistics to cast their vote
      In the same election
Imagine if that happened here in the Presidential

America treats its voters like they are a nuisance

That We the People is a cod
and was from the day it was preambled into their own Constitution

FYI folks on that day, We the People was 6% of the then population
      White men that owned property
