Over 30mm of rain in the West already with 45mm at the usually wet station Maam Valley. The heaviest rain is in the North now but some heavy showers in the Southeast and more raining pushing into the Southwest. pic.twitter.com/h3TT0uJhdl

During an Irish winter it rains. It also rains in spring, summer and autumn. If this were the Netherlands, we’d be exporting tankers of surplus rainwater to the Arab states in exchange for pure desert sand for use in the building trade.
:)
(:
Lovely up north though ;)
