Not much was really made of Judge Frank Roe’s acquaintance with the defendant, Richard Flynn, whom he acquitted. Roe should never have presided over the trial.
At the time it was widely mentioned that a Fianna Fáil politician was in the house that night. Anyone know who that might have been?

Sorry to have missed most of the Fr Molloy segment. Gemma O’Doherty reckons she knows who dunnit. Does Sharon have her own theory? I’ll be interested in seeing the documentary. I often think of him when I pass through Castlecoote.
