          Ah cool. Ta

Football is a world unknown to me. I think it was coz I was always last picked for sports. (Sniff..sniff)

It also have to do with the fact that I was a tall gangly yoke who didn’t gain proper control of his legs until he was in his mid teens ;-)

            It didn’t stop Peter Crouch
(He of the “what would you be if you weren’t a footballer?” “Probably a virgin” quote)

      Me too Bertie.
The whole point of the Poppy is to remember those who died to give people like McClean the right not to wear it.
Or Muslim players the right not to wearing alcohol branding on their shirts.
Or any player the right not to take the knee without being called racist.

“… the right not to take the knee without being called racist…”

Or even, god forbid, a Millwall supporter.

How did millions of young men dying horribly in trenches during World War One give anyone rights? Didn’t they all die in the names of toxic nationalism, competitive imperialsim, political brinksmanship and a massive arms race? It certainly wasn’t for anyone;s freedom to do anything pther than die horribly in trenches.

Twitter really is a bastion of love and respect isn’t it. It’s just not the cesspit of hate and vicious bullying some say it is at all…

That’s instagram pictured above, not twitter. Instagram is a very different type of cesspool.
