When our welfare team investigated a welfare concern in Galway, we found a frightened donkey in an environment not suitable for his needs. With collaboration from Galway Co. Council, Hungry Horse Outside and DAFM, this donkey now has a brighter future. pic.twitter.com/rD7ArWXvAo

How do wild donkeys and other hooved lads avoid the whole Aladdin’s slipper thing?
Horses/donkeys in the wild don’t need their hooves trimmed because they walk all day and wear them down. Domesticated horses/donkeys need their hooves trimmed because when people keep the horses confined and feed them well, their hoof growth outpaces the rate at which they can wear them down on their own.
LOL – Aladdins Slipper!
Good Work David and Donkey Sanctuary et al.
Hopefully the last owner has their undergarments infested with some aggressive flesh eating bugs and that their sleep is forever haunted with hellish red eyed donkeys.
