O’ Brien Road, Carlow.

Roller skaters Sonia Raposa and Carla Rodera at the filming of the 72-hour Lost Weekend, co-created by VISUAL and Carlow Arts Festival and part of a ‘hybrid programme’ of live, digital and virtual experiences taking place over 10 days from June 4-13.

These include the Women in the Machine….

Dorothy Murphy writes:

…The exciting large scale film, digital and live project takes over Carlow’s  former Braun building, VISUAL and digital platforms and features 50 original arts projects and the work of hundreds of artists.

Led by women in music, art and technology, a myriad of artists will take over this giant, abandoned landmark to create a 72 hour lost weekend event, captured on film. It will unfold through film, exhibitions, sound works, light installations, digital native events, a 360 virtual exhibition space, performances, talks and community engagement projects.

Tickets are on sale now for all events at Carlow Arts Festival including the in person and filmed experience of Woman In The Machine as part of Brightening Air|Coiscéim Coiligh Ptickets at link below .
