Approx 10% of our daily cases are already the Delta variant. And growing rapidly every day. Its going to be the dominant strain here within weeks. MHQ for airport arrivals didn’t keep it out, as it won’t keep out any other variant, because we have an uncontrolled land border with Northern Ireland that 60,000 people a day cross.

So why on earth would we enforce airport quarantine for all arrivals, needlessly keeping families apart, destroying businesses, and crippling entire industries? It causes huges amount of emotional, physical and financial damage for no public health gain. Any variants of concern are getting in anyway through NI.

    These people are totally insane.

This wecanbezero crowd are about as nuts as the covid-19 is caused by 5G crowd yet they get air time on all of the main media platforms. What are advocating for is completely unfeasible, given the fact that we have an open land border with a separate jurisdiction, and yet they can constantly influence the media agenda. Genuinely baffling!!!!

The ‘delta’ variant may be slightly more infectious, and that is all it needs to be, but is it less or more serious than the original? The ratio of cases to serious illness or death keeps falling and it is claimed to be because of vaccines, but is it not likely that this, like most viruses, has mutated to become LESS harmful?

But that wouldn’t fit the fear narrative now would it?

And, If SARS1 infection provides cross immunity- which it does- then why would this be any different? What evidence is there that it infects people who have cleared the original? Because that is how it is currently being slanted.

“The ratio of cases to serious illness or death keeps falling and it is claimed to be because of vaccines, but is it not likely that this, like most viruses, has mutated to become LESS harmful?”

No, its actually because vaccines work very effectively, and have done for almost a century.

“But that wouldn’t fit the fear narrative now would it?”

No it wouldn’t because the ‘fear narrative’ is silly nonsense.
