Minister for Tourism Catherine Martin visited the ‘Druid’s Altar’ to announce a Fáilte Ireland investment of €73million to develop four new world-class Irish tourist attractions.
The Calf House Dolmen, a 4000-year-old animal shelter and portal tomb reputedly used for human sacrifices, is among the four, receiving €4.8million.
