Hard to watch her there without crying, tbh.

      Comhghairdeas Kellie! Amazing achievement.

    Amazing!
I highly recommend watching the Tommy Tiernan interview she did last year. She is so hard working and humble.

Not to be a buzz kill though… who organised the big screen in Portland Row? I thought the council refused due to Covid?
    Was that a private organiser?
Did the media all chip in as they knew it’s make for great scenes?

Great role model for a part of Dublin thats tough to grow up in.
I’m sure mehole and leotheleak will be chauffeured ro the airport for a photo op.

They’d be terrified to visit Portland Road.

Nice to see a little positivity on BS for a change. Superb win and gold for Ireland. Kellie is a shining light for her community and Ireland.

Speaking of 40kms, Kipchoge’s marathon was utterly spellbinding to watch following the Women’s marathon and really enjoyed the medal presentations for both marathons during the closing ceremony.

Berlingo… Hmm, isn’t that the rusty little van your mother does the dogging in? Well, out of, so to speak. How proud you were that first time she brought you with, good times indeed.
        Heh, heh, heh.

Well I thought so too, until I saw Glen Gantley’s Twitter shoehorned in there at the end. Never miss an opportunity eh Bodge.

Hopefully now, she’ll get the funding and support she deserves to retain her title in Paris 2024. #hakunamatata, you absolute star.

Well done Kellie, great bout – and wonderful scenes from Portland Row, congrats to you all

John Tracey Sports Council get your priorities right. Fund the right disciplines. Track & Field shams need not apply!

I never thought to come on here yesterday, it was a great win! Dublin Live were streaming from Portland Row so I got a great sense of the celebrations – which the BBC were really struggling to convey
