Ah, that’s very kind of the care staff to give you back your phone Charger. If they haven’t had to confiscate by the am, I’ll enjoy some sport with you then..

This Merrion party affair goes on! Just looking at the front page of the Indo. Crikey, how will the sitting government spin this? Will the FF backbenchers defy an Taoiseach for the confidence vote… sounds like the opening blurb of a sitcom.

Oh I dunno, it would make you despair if you dwelled on it but at least it’s Saturday and the lovely leaves are falling!

From that Indo report, regarding the email sent to Michilín’s office.

“The emails were released by the Department of Tourism to Sinn Féin under the Freedom of Information Act.
However, an identical request sent by Sinn Féin to the Department of the Taoiseach was refused, with officials saying no records existed.”
Some FOI all the same. Now Michilín’s office has questions to answer.

Martin threatening his party colleagues. Did you ever hear the like? Threatening them with suspension if they don’t support a …… FGer. My oh my.
Mushroom Michilín has really sunk FF to the depths. Maybe his colleagues should issue him with a threat/ultimatum – “sack Coveney and Varadkar, or we sack you”
Think of the headlines – FF sack leader and mini-leader of FG. or. Michilín comes good, and becomes a leader.

    1. V aka Frilly Keane

      Hardly threatening
      He’s enforcing the Government Whip
And that’s what he’s supposed to do as Taoiseach

And anyone in the Government Benches that doesn’t support a Government vote needs to be put out
      That’s professional politics

All the huff and puff of cranky eFFers
      Lists of them n’ all
      And not a f’n word out’ve them
Shur’ even McGuiness didn’t even turn up – gas how he does all his talking everywhere else
More soundbites to lazy journos than backbone

Micheál Martin knew exactly all he had to manage was a basket of empty shirts

F.F. are lucky to have the benefit of Ahearn’s vision and integrity to show them where they went wrong. Now put Rambo ‘Line in the sand’ Burke in charge of Housing, with Pee Flynn responsible for raising the finance and between they’d have the country sorted in no time.

Oh thanks for boiling my blood.
My family are on broken-crockery alert!

And I think I just heard Crazy-Horse Haughey on RTE radio regretting the rising cynicism towards politics and politicians these days.
Now who was primarily responsible for that I wonder?

no harm, sure easily done, a priest could’ve dunnit

between the dynasties and the other chancers and convicted criminals it’s hard to know what’s what

I think I read somewhere the collective noun for groups of dynasty’s is “a dail”

It’s like Daisy Chainsaw claiming to be Panti Bliss- while anti vax keep their minimum wage jobs serving in a very overpriced Dublin rainbow bar.
