Also… if they ever make a prequel to Alien/Aliens she’d be a shoe-in… There were times in KATE she looked like a young Sygourney Weaver :)
That said, I think it silly of they do make 007 James Bond a woman.
It makes more sense to create a new character… 006, …8,… 9 or whatever.
Expand the franchise, don’t canabalise it :)

007 has 20-odd movies of history and baggage to unpick. it’s far more sensible to start from scratch with a new female 00 agent.
unless they kill off 007 and start with a new female character with a 008 designation or somesuch.
