If it does 50kmph it is classed as an electric motorbike requiring a motorbike helmet, insurance and tax and not an ebike. But I don’t think this would be legal on Irish roads.
It’ll will be limited to 25kph in the EU. Well the assistance aspect that is. Pedelec bikes can go faster than that but it’s all you doing so.
