i dont know broadsheet. unless you have an offical communication from each venue in picture, i wouldnt publish this. could be seen as defamatory as implications they are breaking law in not seeking vaccination certs.

Had a look at some of the places on there.

Most of the ones I’ve seen are serving “outdoors” in a sheltered area.

No law broken and morale stance upheld.

      All good.

Interesting how these clowns always appear with new usernames eh?

The only way that an insurance policy would be void is if the business had been fined. Even then, this nonsense would never go to court because they would have to prove that passports protect people- which they do not, because vaccinated are just as infectious.

The businesses have voluntarily made their polices public- pretty sure at least some of them checked out the legal implications beforehand.

People that are vaccinated are not ‘just as infectious’ when all categories of someone’s likelihood to pass on this virus are taken into account. Namely 1) likelihood to be infected in the first place 2) period of time that one is contagious and 3) how infectious one is while contagious. Your typical vaccinated person is lower across all three categories than your typical unvaccinated person. Sometimes by order of full or multiple degrees.

I’m not sure if you know how probability is calculated mathematically, but the role of multiplication here is key. Whether or not you agree with the use of vaccine passports on an ideological basis, there is a rationality to them in a mathematical regard. You come on and repeat this untruth what seems like daily, it’s a mix of some media headlines and reports that you isolate favourable information from and turn it into a larger but faked story. You’re an awful liar.

Not to mention all the places not on this list who havent taken an overt stand but simply do not check.

In Mr.T’s area, only 1 pub out of 13 checks, and very sporadically at that.

Absolutely- there is a well known large venue in Dublin City Centre who are just going through the motions, but if you say you haven’t got one, they just wave you in anyways. That way they keep the Karens off their back while not doing the government’s dirty work for them either.

If they are so certain that these discriminatory passports reduce transmission then let them put the empirical evidence out there for all to see- but they won’t, because they can’t- because there is none.

Also re: list- I see a couple of places I know on there- decent principled people- fair play. People will remember such long after this whole silly nonsense is over.

Ah, great guys. Will add them all to my boycott list. Thanks for the heavy lifting on this one. Any chance of an update of more tomorrow?

In fairness, these venues don’t look very sophisticated. One looks like the community center in fair city.

I hope that you enjoying shivering outside in the cold while all of the vaxxed sound lads are inside having the craic, ematty.

that’s not part of Broadsheets message so wasn’t included. Can’t have us mussing up our hair thinking too hard.

Owner of my local was telling he they had checks from the HSE last week, who wanted to see proof of asking customers for certs, as well as spot checking some customers who had already entered.

These lads are gonna regret this.

Nice one. Thanks for the list of venues that intend to break the law, increase the spread of the virus, and increase the pressure on our hospitals and ICUs. Hopefully they’ll be shut down as soon as possible.

Remember when broadsheet did light-hearted political stories and nice sunsets? Now it’s almost gone full rabbit-hole conspiracy theory. It’s really is pathetic & embarrassing.

Don’t worry though, Broadsheet’s mate Piers Corbyn has it all figured out.

Ah, Piers is a legend. He calls out the climate and covid cons you gullible sorts just love to believe in. He’s infinitely more intelligent than you!

      1. Jim

Because this is broadsheet, I’m genuinely not sure if you’re being sarcastic.

But if you’re NOT being sarcastic…well, then you are an absolute idiot. Do you also believe 9-11 was an inside job, or that the moon landings were faked, or that the world is flat? I mean, most conspiracy theory idiots generally believe all of the idiotic conspiracy theories.

        1. jungleman

Oh EMatty knows the truth. If only us fools could see what he sees!

Tell us about the CYTOKINE STORMS!!!

        2. Rob_G

E’matty does indeed believe the 9/11 was an inside job (7/7 too, while we are at it).

I don’t know about the other two, am curious to hear about his “independent research” into what the elites don’t want us to know about the curvature of the earth.

Can we get a list of venues that refuse to check ID for booze? Plenty of 16 and 17 year olds unable to excercise their rights over their bodies due to discriminatory laws.
