    Timothy Spall looks well.

It does look like Randy Andy is about to be taken down a few notches. If it was a football team you’d be bringing in a foreign manager

No it’s not. It’s not ironic at all. We were a former British colony and remain deeply embedded in their culture. Please don’t deny who you are. It’s pitiful

ROFL – ENFIN. Whether Orange man can help overcome the Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy situation, an overwhelming issue among his supporters, will show whether Trump can actually trump anti-vaxxer sentiment, the flames of which he was happy to fan until very recently when he saw which way the wind was blowing. One also notes that Tango claimed credit for “making the vaccines”.

Let’s hope mad auld lad GiggidyGums, you are boosted. Erra, shur I’d wager you were first in the queue and not an auld fella your poor vaccinator will forget in a while! Ha

How are you getting on with scanning your aul code for me? You know I’m still waiting!

      1. GiggidyGoo

Yep. Scan the code. Made specially for you.
The Trump story is interesting though. All of the anti Trump sentiment here by the cohort of anti-bodgerites, a lot of who are lambasting bodger for his stances on trump and covid simultaneously. Where to turn now?

        1. Nigel

You think people’s opinions on vaccines and the pandemic are determined by their attitudes to Trump? Or to bring in critiques of Bodger’s stances on Trump, do you think Trump coming out in support of vaccines has any meaningful relevance to whether or not he won the election he, and Bodger, claims was fraudulent? Don’t you think it’s dangerous to reach conclusions about things like election outcomes, pandemics and vaccines based entirely on the opinions and actions of someone like Trump? Therefore isn’t it asinine to treat people’s opinons and actions of someone like Trump as having some sort of determinitive influence on their objective opinions about things like election results and pandemics and vaccines?

          1. GiggidyGoo

The modus operandi for both were the same, and usually the same commenters. Anything that trump ever did just didn’t sit well with those. Now that Trump is on the vaccine side, where to turn now? Maybe label them Trump supporters now – after all they are now in tune with him.

          2. Nigel

‘Anything that trump ever did just didn’t sit well with those’

That’s because Trump did lots of awful things.

‘Now that Trump is on the vaccine side, where to turn now?’

It’s genuinely astonishing, and emblematic of how you approach these issues, that you think this poses any sort of dilemma. Trump has always been ‘on the vaccine side.’ He’s also been on the side of undermining the pandemic response and causing the deaths of thousands of people. You’d no more use him as a medical or scientific compass than you’d use him as a moral one.

        2. 1-2-1-2

          lol you are wrong
Let’s just leave it at that
As for Trump, he’s been misrepresented by idiots like Nigel and has always been a completely middle of road, classic (no) tax and spend liberal. Yes he has postured to the Jews and even to the blacks and yes, appears to pander to the religious right. Anyone ever figured that’s maybe why he lost the middle in the election? Anyone who’s ever spent time in the US especially in Irish settled immigrant circles knows full well his brand of immigrant politics is what you’d hear over the counter at any Irish American Hooley or mid town bar. He just has the balls to say it out loud, because you know what, he doesn’t care the one thing I don’t care for however are his environmental policies

      Finally?
Trump put up 20 billion dollars and signed Operation Warp Speed for the mass-production of vaccines in the US in April 2020.
The success of the vaccine rollout in that country is almost entirely due to his actions.
While we’re at it the U.S has reported 484,377 new coronavirus cases yesterday setting a new world record – you’ll recall Brain Dead Biden came to office promising to ‘shut down the virus’.

      1. Nigel

This leaves out some stuff. Even as he put resources into vaccine development because he thought it might win him the election, he was busy downplaying the virus, blaming it on China, blaming it on the Democrats, undermining the federal response, playing party politics with resources, playing populist politics with the pandemic itself, turning the Republican Party into an anti-vaxx party (despite most of them being vaccinated), with Republican governers making pandemic measures illegal and supporters turning to unproven, and sometimes dangerous, remedies (you can be sure Trump didn;t take ivermectin)and paranoid conspiracy thinking. He’s directly responsible for thousands of deaths, but he wants credit for the vaccines, but his supporters are anti-vaxx, and the Republicans are exercising all their power to prevent any sort of pandemic response while blaming Joe Biden for not ending the pandemic. Personally I think it’s a bit brain-dead to ignore all that, but hey.

        1. TenPin Terry

Trump did indeed blame it on China.
He was right about that too.
He also negotiated a peaceful withdrawal from Afghanistan that What Day Is It? managed to turn into the biggest American foreign policy debacle in decades and gift the Taliban tens of billions in military hardware left behind.
And the border leaking thousands of illegal migrants every week? Another great fix by Nurse Where’s My Commode?
Fortunately Let Me Sniff Your Kiddie Hair will be in care and eating burgers through a straw when the Democrats get kicked out at the next election.

          1. Nigel

Seems like you’re complaining that Trump made appalling messes and Biden isn’t cleaning them up to your satisfaction, bit like when Obama inherited a global recession and disastrous war from the Republicans the previous time.

          2. SOQ

I posted a link to an interview with Robert Malone yesterday on the illegal vaccination of the US army. Pfizer do not have a full license and the Biden administration are actively lying to military personnel. Extraordinary stuff.

charger – I wouldn’t be so definitive about hanging it on Chinese bad actors

imho the only certainty is that it was no accident of nature but (barring a Snowden style event) I doubt we’ll ever get to know the full plotline

          4. TenPin Terry

You think Biden cleaned up the evacuation of Kabul to anyone’s satisfaction ?
US Afghan interpreters falling from the wings of a departing transport plane would beg to differ.
And Barry ? Black people were worse off at the end of Obama’s two terms in office than when he moved into the White House.
Gitmo is still going strong too although the Dems like to keep quiet about that.
Biden’s presidency has been a disaster. His ratings are worse than Trump’s at the same stage of the election cycle.
His VP is so unpopular with even the Democrats she’ll be ditched before the next election.
You didn’t just back a pig in a poke pal, you bet the whole sty on a zombie.
Sit back and enjoy the disaster that is unfolding.

          5. SOQ

Biden issued an illegal instruction to vaccinate US Military personnel. The FDA approved BioNtech product called Comirnaty does not exit as yet.

In 2005 Glasgow had the highest number of knife attacks and murders in Europe and was known as Stab City. A montage of knife crime murder victims from that city at that time would be very interesting too. It’s not at all a race issue, it’s poverty and inequality. But you’d like to think differently. You ignorant ballbag.

    2. Tara Strete (formerly Sydney Parade-Gates, formerly Herr Coach, formerly Buzz Eireann, formerly Hughie Luas)

Easy: They’ve all been racially profiled by you.
