Who doesn’t like a good shafting?
I was just saying to Giggidy there how much I liked being raped by Ryanair and she was very encouraging

Ha haaaa. No such thing happened to you. You just couldn’t read their terms. In order to hire a car you needed a credit card, and you weren’t considered creditworthy to get one.
Poor you. No access to Visa. You’re no Master Card either when it comes to humour.

            All of them? Ha haaaa.
But you still haven’t told us why you hate them. I doubt all protestants hate you – they all wouldn’t know you, yet you hate all of them?
            Well?

          2. bisted

…true, as usual, Giggser…but…of all the people I’ve met who define themselves by religious faith despise me for not having any faith…especially protestants…nearly as bad as catholics!

          3. GiggidyGoo

Nothing at all to do with religious faith if you’re putting a blanket hatred on all protestants, even those you don’t know.

          4. bisted

            …true again Giggser…like I thought I knew the only vaccinated ratlicker…now I’m not so sure…

          5. GiggidyGoo

Terrible when you’re unable to give a reasonable explanation for your blanket hatred of people. must be a lonely place.

A second, “one-off payment” to help with inflation, also leads back to inflation.
What the hell are they thinking

“People are struggling with inflation – should we cut carbon taxes? VAT?”
“Ah shur just print more money and give one for everyone in the audience!”

Oh good man Charger Salmons/Admiral Nelson/TenPin Terry etc etc. Fair play to you, you’re some man for multiple, I mean one man.

I like to read roundups of what the British papers say like the one you cite. You characterise that any way you like troll.

It’s not unusual to look at the reaction of the opponent’s media after a victory over them, less inferiority complex and more reveling in the moment!

Our friends across the water do it too, if England muller France you’ll see the Mail or the Guardian or whoever featuring French media reaction to the loss.

Sometimes a bit of fun is just that, a bit of fun.

I love the way Boris continues to trigger the inferiority complex regulars on here day in day out. It’s a joy to watch.
They’re going to be so disappointed when he’s leading the Tories into the next general election.

Guto Harri on his first meeting with Boris since being named Director of Communications:

“I walked in, I gave him a salute and said ‘Prime Minister, Guto Harri reporting for duty’ and he stood up from behind his desk and started to salute but then said ‘What am I doing, I should take the knee for you.”…. ( Harri was binned by GB News for taking the knee on-air )

“I then asked ‘Are you going to survive Boris?’ And he said in his deep voice, slowly and with purpose, whilst singing a little as he finished his sentence ‘I Will Survive’. ” he answered, ‘I’ve got all my love to give’, so we had a little blast of Gloria Gaynor!”

      Heh,heh,heh.

Ah good man Charger/TenPin Terry/Admiral Nelson et al. Any chance of you posting the latest approval ratings for your hero Bozo?
        Marvelous.

          I like Frankie Boyle’s d’inscriptions of him,
          examples :
a broken bag of rice wearing a Halloween Diana wig,
          The Chernobyl womble.

The story that bothers me the most is the carbon tax increase which nobody seems to oppose, but if accepted will gradually impoverish every family on the Island.

Electricity and heating oil have seen massive jumps in cost over the last year.

All the raising energy input costs that go into our food are all going to get passed on to the consumer.

To me it seems like this year is going to be a shocker for normal people trying to get by.

Carrie feeling the heat now. After the refurbishment of the apartment to her liking, does she see it all disappear if front of her eyes? Will Cliff Richard’s hit ‘Carrie’ (Chorus – ‘‘Carrie doesn’t live here anymore….’’) be back in the charts?
Meanwhile, still at No. 1 in Google search in Ireland is Charger Salmons. Strike!

11 Tyrone heroes managed to stay on the field. A victory of sorts, clearly not reflected by the score-line. The derby match was littered with insults, such as, “Yer Ma, is from Armagh” – mostly true, to be fair.

    1. Shayna

@bisted, my Parish Church, Clonoe in Tyrone, there’s a monument that remembers the repel of, “The Blacks” – a Protestant English force in @ 1890 , they marched on Clonoe – big fight, they wanted to burn St. Patrick’s Chapel. They didn’t! The Monument reads, “Glorious Clonoe, First on the field, last to leave”. It’s what we got.

  4. Shayna

.Goddamnit, Shayna tends to witter – yes we (Tyrone) are quite good at fighting {on the football field} – I suspect there was a bit too much of, “Yer Ma! It seems GAA HQ are investigating.

Fascinating story in today’s New York Times about how admitting 160,000 Syrian refugees to the traditionally low-crime Scandi-paradise country of Sweden from 2015 has led to an explosion of violence.
It found that there were just 25 shootings in Sweden in 2015, but last year there were 342, along with dozens of bombings. Of those prosecuted for gun crimes since 2017, 85% were born abroad or had at least one parent who was.
A migrant rape crisis has also emerged through records kept by the official agency Statistics Sweden (SCB) which found that although approximately 19.7% of the Swedish population are foreign-born they account for 47.7% of those convicted of rape – nearly half.
