Fair play to TG4. Part-time farmers like myself couldn’t operate without these guys. They provide a service promptly and efficiently, which is a rare and beautiful thing these days.
When I was a little boy, if someone asked me what I wanted to be when I’m grown up, it was also “a silage man”, and many more like me!

‘Pileage’ is what you get from sitting in a tractor all day and not getting enough roughage!
When, eventually, dictionaries catch up with this word, then perhaps the OED may ease your OCD?
