1. Following a teaser last month, Director Baz Lurhmannn has released the full trailer for the upcoming biopic of Elvis starring Austin Butler as the rock icon and Tom Hanks as his manager Colonel Tom Parker.
2. We get a trip through the three decades of the star’s career, which lasted from his breakthrough in 1956 to his untimely death at 42 in 1977, including the famous, 1968 comeback special.
3. Hanks plays the villain of the story who meets Elvis at a fairground and signs him.
4. And lastly, we see Elvis in one of his white jumpsuits, backstage with his Memphis Mafia and backing singers, ready to perform at one of his 1970s Las Vegas residencies.
Andy’s verdict: Stock up on the peanut and jelly sandwiches, it looks a good one!

As someone who was lucky enough to see Elvis live, I can’t wait to see this. Tom Hanks looks great as Parker and Austin Butler looks great as Elvis.
Wow ! Whereabouts did you see him? How was it?
I saw him in Houston in 1974 and Willie Nelson was supporting him at a rodeo. I was 4 and I don’t remember too much. It was my first ever concert.
