Billy Bragg is a joke, crap at music & a political hypocrite who fled his home in London, for Devon, as the replacement happened there.

        1. SOQ

I’d say that to Conor- mainly to get the attention of the fit gay lads he usually hangs around with.

I know you’re probably sick of my holiday postcards by now but I am sensationally poo-faced tonight.
Rum is oozing out of every pore of my body and I’m a festering volcano of weed.
If you put a match to my buttocks Johnny could easily toke on me all night.
    I am that far gone.

    1. K.Cavan

Billy Bragg is still a joke, crap at music & a political hypocrite who fled his home in London, for Devon, as the replacement happened there.

      1. Daisy Chainsaw

Those damn, dirty, furriners eh? Taking all your women and forcing you and the rest of the master race into your sexless basements.

        1. SOQ

Gender does not mean biological sex- if you have a problem with that then take yourself off to something other than GAY Pride.

A man winning a swimming competition is what he is no matter what gender he identifies as.

Enough of the BS- the vast majority of LGBT are not T- nothing wrong with T but to suggest they should take priority is homophobic in the extreme.

          1. Daisy Chainsaw

And what does this latest incoherent rant have to do with KKKCavan’s racist rantings?

      2. Nigel

Between ‘the replacement’ and ‘Globohomo’ I am becoming concerned that KCavan might not be woke.

I was in my local shibeen, yes they do exist -well, 20 years ago,, a comrade commented on the news, it was all about Syria he said, “Can you imagine living in a country where people shoot at you?” – I reminded him – the wound he carries is a British bullet.

  3. bisted

…hah…there’s sleepy Joe Biden trying to rattle his sabre at the Chinese now…too late Joe…history will show that you were VP when Obama reintroduced slavery…

      1. bisted

…ah here Mad…after the yanks brought their regime change bandwagon to Libya the first thing to thrive were the open slave markets…great legacy…

        1. bisted

…don’t know about that Cato…his bombs killed a lot of children though…saw that typo in time to change it thanks…pedantry used to be quite a big thing on Broadsheet around the time Obama was first bombing Libya and returning the richest region of North Africa back to the stone age…

          1. Mad

This is the kind of insight – probably the only kind – I still come to broadsheet for
            Thanks bisted

This is a very good interview with the British journalist Peter Oborne on that subject.

How Ukraine War EXPOSES Western Racism | Peter Oborne – 9:32 mins.

“War is ok, something you can sing & dance about when it happens in Muslim countries, but deadly serious when it happens in Europe”

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9DtoNm0QJA

          3. anti bot

ah go Q. tell us more conspiracy theories.tell us again that covid is a cold that no Americans died. tell us again that Urkanians are all neo Nazis and deserve to die. Straight from the Trump play book. have you watched Klepper yet, or too afraid?

          4. Nigel

I wouldn’t take that at face value, Mad. bisted is pretty invested in making Obama out to be the supreme villain in all that and ignoring the roles played by literally everyone else involved. He tends to exaggerate Obama’s death tolls while exonerating others of appalling war crimes. Obama’s at fault yes, but far from the only one.

          5. Nigel

            ‘War is ok,’

Whereas you think the war in Ukraine is ok? Unless you can blame NATO for it, then it’s bad. But if it’s Putin’s war, then it’s not so bad.

          6. bisted

…how does that one go Nigel…the one about tying the the bell to the tail of the tiger…myself, I would have just said US adventurism…a neat idea though having your own proxy army called NATO and getting Europe to pay for it…

          7. anti bot

a neat idea? are you for real? People are getting murdered. If it was your family, would that be neat? Are you from the Trump playbook too?

          8. Mad

I feel I speak for many here when I say I’ve had enough of your bellyache, Nigel.

You wouldn’t take what at face value – Time – a pro-western, liberal, globalist source?

Please take some time today to self-evaluate.

          9. Nigel

No, I said don’t take bisted’s assessments at face value. Cut your own bellyaching before whining about other people’s.

          10. Mad

I didn’t. I found a surprising source which appears to back up exactly everything he said in his comment. You are mostly behaving like a reactionary clown and really like a dimwit, Nigel. Take a breather.

          11. Nigel

            ‘I found a surprising source’

Is it surprise that causes to to lash out defensively? That sometimes happens.

          12. bisted

…talking about surprising sources…’neat idea’ off course is an americanism used by Ronald Reagan to describe Oliver North’s wheeze of selling arms to Iran and using the profits to fund the Contras in Nicaragua…true US adventurism, long before Obama…sleepy Joe Biden is just the latest in a long line of US presidents who see fit to lecture the rest of the world but do the opposite themselves…

        2. K.Cavan

Cato, we will pile onto anyone silly enough to refer to typos, we don’t do that, ’round here. Cut it out.

    1. SOQ

I doubt Putin is too bothered about what the west think- the two largest countries in the world, India and China- are increasing trade now and more importantly, not using USD to do it.

Putin’s popularity in Russia is currently sitting at around 70%, which is up 10 apparently. According to statista, Putin’s top rating was 88%. I don’t know how statista arrive at such figures btw.

      https://www.statista.com/statistics/896181/putin-approval-rating-russia/

      1. johnny

        its just DUH!

        unreadable dross.

(every comment is without even a basic child like grasp of the real world, every post)

        – Bilateral trade between India and Russia is about $10 billion-

-For the United States, the trade data shows that it imported more than $22.3 billion on Russian goods

one trade, just one w/o USD,put up or STFU-it’s moronic at this point.

    2. V aka Frilly Keane

Miscalculated their capacity to be able to withstand rigorous debate and challenge more like

      Totally overvalued their competencies
And their abilities to make Putin look sound and reasonable, like a Statesman

      Farage, like come on

      Annuder thing
It’s becoming too obvious to ignore, Irish Media haven’t a notion of how an Oligarchy is created
And what makes an lad an Oligarch

And it’s starting to weewee me off
Fitintin makes a good job of selling himself as a leading member of the intelligencia level of media personalities
      And gobs for hire

But when it comes to referencing wealth, business, and financial matters, and transactions & reporting activities
He’s part of the utter shONEt at it cluster

      1. Mad

        You’re correct.
He’s got to where he has by cleverly writing what the editors think readers want to hear- as opposed to with actual investigative journalism – which takes work.
        He’s fit for nothing.
        Fit-in-tan.

    3. K.Cavan

In Geo-political terms, the polar opposite has happened. The West has found how thin its support is, as well as snubs from China, India, Brazil, S. Africa, S. Arabia, UAE, etc, 17 African countries didn’t support the US at the UN. Seems most of the world does not want paedos in their schools, trannies in office, 152 genders, etc & THAT is what The West now stands for.
Uncle Sam’s unipolar world is dead. Liberal Hedgemony is dead. The GAE is moribund. Globohomo is coughing up blood.
The illegal seizure of Russia’s foreign currency deposits is a de facto default but it still paid its sovereign debt with money from its JP Morgan account.
Obama has been pulling Biden’s strings, all throughout this & he’s made a complete hash of it. Wall St is raging about the sanctions & are agitating to have Biden removed.
What a disaster for The West & as it all unravels, the system pigs on here will squeal, ever more loudly & hysterically.
It will be so much fun.

      1. Nigel

        ‘Globohomo’

I hope this is golobal homogeneity…

‘What a disaster for The West’

You also said the war was already over on the first day of the invasion.

        1. Daisy Chainsaw

KKKCavan is an angry, incel, bigot, hiding in his basement from quares and/or darkies who are replacing him. If it wasn’t for them and the Jews, he’d be rich and successful and have women falling over him instead of being followed by people who are trying to inject him with the vaccine!

          1. Mad

You’d need a good bankroll to keep your stable of tyke dykes in the manner to which you have them accustomed Daisy – more than a lowly government worker makes anyway.

        2. GiggidyGoo

Really Daisy? Homophobic slurs? As in your ‘ KKKCavan is an angry, incel, bigot, hiding in his basement from quares and/or darkies who are replacing him’
Shades / smell of the Stonebridge off you.

          1. Mad

An horrific and serially abusive personage Giggidy who routinely and methodically violates vulnerable people on this.

          2. Daisy Chainsaw

It’s fun watching you run around in circles thinking you know who I am. The “hints” are hilarious! Hickory Dickory Doxx!

  4. SOQ

So in the middle of a war zone in Ukraine, in order to claim a benefit due to loss of income, you now need a passport- for a vaccine which doesn’t even work. Further more, you get paid to have said vaccine, but can only spend the app credit in designated retailers. If that wasn’t surreal enough…

“Zelenskyy has just signed into law the first steps of Schwab’s Great Reset. He announced he is introducing a Social Credit Application combining Universal Basic Income (UBI), a Digital Identity & a Vaccine Passport all within their Diia app. ”

    https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/war/ukraine-adopts-wef-proposals/

So this is what appears to be a priority- the WEF’s wet dream. If you are still dismissing all of this as a ‘conspiracy theory’, then ask yourself why it is so important for this to be implemented in Ukraine right now.

Clearly no concerns about internet connectivity it appears.

    1. johnny

christ your so dull, repetitive and just boring, how’s Musk fit into this then ?

say hello to Ukraines little friend,Starlink.

      Mykhailo Fedorov
      @FedorovMykhailo
      Ukraine government official
A new batch of Starlink stations! While Russia is blocking access to the Internet, Ukraine is becoming more open to the entire world. Ukraine is the truth. The truth always wins. Thank you,

      1. Mad

Johnny, give it a rest, man.
You’re a terrible bully and just as boring and repetitive in your way as many here. You’re always banging on about Janet “sub-commenting” on your threads and here you are doing the same to SOQ daily. We are old enough to decide for ourselves if we want to click on his links and don’t need a comment police. Thanks, man.

        1. Johnny

“Clearly no concerns about internet connectivity it appears.“

Ukraines connectivity and Musks bravado have been widely, reported,if your going comment on the daily papers, try reading them.

A basic grasp of supply and demand,or say oh size of actual trade, would be helpful, that’s unless you like your daily papers bombard with dirge.

          1. Mad

If “your going comment” at all Johnny try and do it a well-formed sentence or better still, not at all, if you can’t be civil. Thanks, “bud”.

          2. Johnny

Musks deployment of Starlink to aid Ukraine targeting is news, not the above drivel,do I need be drunk or an active alcoholic to “get it” the other link, from where again….

            https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10630625/Elon-Musks-internet-allowing-Ukrainian-drones-pound-Putins-helpless-tanks.html

What paper Is this in-link above

…Zelensky has just signed into law the first steps of Schwab’s Great Reset. He announced he is introducing a Social Credit Application combining Universal Basic Income (UBI), a Digital Identity & a Vaccine Passport all within their Diia app. He also says that because so much money is coming into Ukraine as he has become an international celebrity, he has legalized cryptocurrencies in Ukraine. He will allow foreign and Ukrainian cryptocurrencies exchanges to operate legally, according to the country’s Ministry of Digital Transformation…..

The source oh please,a badly translated tweet,on Armstrong Economis, run by a con man and convicted felon,a self taught economist.

    2. SailorGerry

      SOQ, you are spot on.

Grand reset agenda laid bare for all to see in Ukraine.

That is our digital future too unless it is resisted.

I think the total deaths related to the ongoing uncivil war in Tigray, Northern Ethiopia is in excess of half a million over the last 16 months, a lot those being women and children, literally staving to death.

Not that it appears to be news or charity worthy according to the gutter press.

Either all lives matter or truly none do, I detest selective sympathy.

They can shove that virtue signalling yellow and blue ribbon, right up there next to their vax pass.

      1. K.Cavan

+1, Gerry. The Digital Social Credit system being implemented in a war zone exposes what they are obsessed with & how divorced from reality they are.

        1. Nigel

‘are now cheering on actual Nazis.’

This is just to cover your cheering on of a corrupt autocratic homophobe and his military invasion. In between your complaining about lack of ‘nuance.’

          1. SOQ

It is the mindless hypocrisy of propaganda fed idiots whom are now cheering on actual Nazis.

If the hat fits the broadsheet.ie account called Nigel, wear it. If said hat is made of tin foil- all the better.

          2. Nigel

Ah the mindless hypocrisy of cynical fools who think they can justify an invasion using Nazis and fake bioweapons. Yes, and when I opposed Iraq II I was cheering on Saddam and the WMDs were real, eh? Nuance nuance nuance!

        2. TenPin Terry

          ‘ Russel Brand nails it … ‘
My god, imagine thinking Russell Brand gives your argument credibility.

          1. SOQ

Did you forget to change usernames again? You are under the TenPin Terry one in case you haven’t noticed.

Why Broadsheet allows this improv BS is beyond me, because it harms the site no end.

He’s gone through a lot of phases now. Inferiority Complex, Paranoia and Narcissism in the past 24 hours. All that in addition to Mittyworld.
The demise of Charger Salmons is slow and painful for him (them). There’ll always be the history though, set in Google Stone.

now it’s just one demoralising annihilation after another – I’d say the Eurovision will see another total wipeout for example. Oh dear

    1. Mad

      Quite.

The horsey and running dogs thing is really what sets us apart from peasants in other European countries.

  5. Mad

The current “England” cricket set up really seems to go off the rails when the Irish lads are not playing

England in West Indies: Centuries from Kraigg Brathwaite and Jermaine Blackwood blunt England in Barbados

    1. TenPin Terry

The last time an Irish ‘ lad ‘ played for England’s test cricket team was in 2012 you ignorant cretin.
The West Indies currently trail England by 219 runs.

      1. GiggidyGoo

Mad didn’t mention ‘test’ cricket in relation to the Irish. He made the point that Blighty’s cricket seems to off the rails in the absence of Irish.
        Now look up Eoin Morgan.
Kinda hot in the bedsit in Blackpool, Cork today?
        Howzat!

      2. Mad

        Too much Captain Morgan’s?

        Oh dear, you sound obstreperous.

Cheap liquor and whores will do that.

In fact England’s “Irish lad” Ed Joyce played test cricket for Ireland v Pakistan in 2018.

And I wasn’t specifically referring to test cricket anyway, England are currently failing across all the international grades including women’s, which I have been noting.

  6. TenPin Terry

    It’s Dumb and Dumber.
They do seem to hang around together a lot.
They could almost be the same person …

    Hehx3™

    1. Mad

The Windies are all out for 411 at the end of the 4th day.
17 overs left now today to kick start an England batting collapse and settle in for the draw as predicted earlier.
With the pitch for the third test in Grenada getting the heavy roller let’s look forward to yet another England cricketer disaster against one of the lowest ranked test nations, ahead of only the mighty Bangladesh and Zimbabwe!

      1. TenPin Terry

        ‘ declare for the draw ‘ …
I’ve shown that to the regulars in the beach bar watching the game and how they laughed.
Naturally the Irish jokes flew thick and fast.
        Hehxtree™

        1. Mad

England have managed the sum total of 3 runs from the first 5 overs – they’re big cricket fans in Montenotte?

          1. TenPin Terry

Maybe they’re planning to ‘ declare for the draw ‘ …
Tbh, at least when you cut and paste as Joe F there’s fewer chances of you making a tosser of yourself.

          2. Mad

            Chin up Chubby Chum!
Your boys were taking a hell of a beating in Paris but now have an outside chance which might gift Ireland the title! Wouldn’t that be great? Oh how your sailor boy bum chums in Baltimore would slap your arse with their wet, dripping towels then!*

*before passing you round like lightly roasted fresh pink hog arse cheek

          3. Mad

            Oh dear!
Looks like another stuffing is on the cards!
Except for you, it’s likely you’ll have to be content with that auto-asphyxiating self-rimming contraption you had set up in your bike shed.
            Again.
            Sigh.

  7. TenPin Terry

    ‘ declare for the draw ‘ …
Now you’re just making a fool of yourself.
It’s what happens when you have multiple usernames.

      1. TenPin Terry

It’s the obsessive repetition that always gives your game away.
        You’re just embarrassing yourself now.
Give it up for a while love.
Then you won’t feel quite so ashamed at being found out.
        Morto.

        1. GiggidyGoo

Is that the best you can come up with? The demise of Charger Salmons is nigh.

Repetition is great all the same. It gets under your skin. Shows you can’t hide from your, ahem, identities. Kinda like putting Charger Salmons into google search, and finding yourself top hit. Congratulations!

I see your yellow taxi has arrived. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMLakPDdn/?k=1 Mind yourself as you get out the back door.
Looks a lot like Hounslow. Ha haaaaaa.

          1. Mad

            I agree Giggidy.
Repetition really is the mother of all learning.
Every single time I mention the cricket he slithers out there like the “punch” drunk wasp of last summer.

    1. K.Cavan

As that house of cards falls, SOQ, the credibility of Nigel & his ilk goes down with it. They are still addicted to the fake science, totalitarians never learn, never adjust to reality, just double down on their irrationalities & nonsense, such ludicrous, childish people.

    1. TenPin Terry

      Fury ?
All the Guardian can find to be furious is Donald Tusk, Guy Verhofstadt and Lord Heseltine.A rogue’s gallery of serial losers.
Those Remainers expressing outrage at Boris drawing Brexit/Ukraine parallels might be on stronger ground if they hadn’t spent the last month claiming Brexit was a Russian plot, and every senior Brexiteer was in the pay of the Kremlin.

        1. TenPin Terry

          Sir Ed Davey ?

          2. Fearganainm

That is a wild guess, but you not getting things right is par for the course with you. I can’t see why you’d imagine that any Brit politician would merit a place of honour on any list that I’d draw up.

Do you have a literacy problem that has to be taken into account? You know that Ed Davey isn’t the only name featured in those additional links. Again, par for the course with you. You try to trash a Guardian article covering the issue without taking the time to check out ‘the issue’. Had you done so you could have found other articles in other media sources, containing other names. Your objection was that there were ‘only three names’, remember?

Your instinct to rush to close down conversation shows you up every time you try it. You reveal yourself as a not-very-good propagandist, not as someone genuinely interested in looking at the facts surrounding an issue.

          3. TenPin Terry

Mate, you keep putting up Guardian links and I’ll keep knocking them out of the park.
Step out of your echo chamber and try to read some objective journalism.
You’ll feel much better for having a more rounded view of the world Beret Boy™
They love Boris in Ukraine because of the support he gave them back in January when everyone else was appeasing Putin. You think a feller destroying a tank with a British rocket launcher is going to be upset he mentioned Brexit you imbecile.

If you call claiming that the Guardian article only contained three names ‘knocking it out of the park’ then no wonder you never succeed in knocking anything out of any park. Anyone reading the Guardian link will see that there are a lot more than three names cited in it.

You pretending that there aren’t and pretending that you’ve knocked something out of an imaginary park are just more examples of your fake news.

And the Ukrainians are well aware that the Brits have been selling military kit to the Russians for years, don’t kid yourself that they’re not.

You really aren’t very good at this, are you?

Well, TPT, for want of a better word there was no nation deserving of the title, however, I’m delighted to watch the next generation Italy players growing in to their paws, not to mention if South Africa join and make it The 7 Nations – it’ll be more imaginative and culturally distinctive from the banality and moodiness of northern rugby in practice at the moment.

I hate to see such wasted talent confined* – and confined due to a geographical location.

          * I prefer if we export our wasted talent :P
