It really is rosary country- well I would have been a lot worse if I hadn’t to have done that novena.
Everybody I know who was triple jabbed has been sick- bedbound sick- and yet not a bother on the unvaccinated? Straw poll maybe, but still.
Absolutely a straw poll, SOQ. Your experience is not representative of the whole country/ world.
Nor is mine.
For example, 5 people In my immediate family who have had Covid, all fully jabbed and boosted, none with any underlying illness, all have had various levels of sickness from “a scratchy throat” to “having to lie in bed unable to get up for 3 or 4 days”
I also know of two others from another family, one in their 50s was sick with a bad head cold the other in their 70s but no underlying issues is still in ICU. Touch and go for her in the last day or two, but seems to be coming round the corner.
Of seven (triple jabbed) I know who caught it, 1 was briefly bedbound, most had mild-ish symptoms and kept functioning fine, as you say no way whatsoever to measure what the outcome without vaccine would have been, particularly as Omicron is already supposed to be less debilitating.

Yes a straw poll but I am not the only one who is saying such.
My point is that given the now mildness of the virus, and the documented evidence that the vaccines wane very quickly, there is no way that statement can be proven. It is his belief that they worked- nothing more.
I’ve got it. Day 5 to 7, bed bound. it’s not an effing flu. There are symptoms. Just because you have yet to catch it, why put everyone else down who has it. You really are a mean person. Go on tell us about Joe, climate change and the next conspiracy theory

In fairness to him there do appear to be a couple of different types of symptoms doing the rounds. Different variants possibly or different individual physical responses? I don’t know, i’m not an expert. Go figure, I’m sure you will.
I’m just about over a bout of it – i’d describe it as “light” compared to a pal of mine who is fatigued and feels like sitting down or lying down only. Zero energy. Same with a few others i know – some coughing like Arigna coal-miners for weeks after it, me – no cough whatsoever.
There is also some other sort of bug doing the rounds apparently? People getting sick but testing negative?
All positive antigens and/or PCRs in those cases i mentioned.

Doubt what could be true? That there are different symptoms in different people, some “light” and others more severe? Don’t take it from me of course, i’m just an anonymous wang who says he’s seen it first hand.
