this changes things on my prediction that I’d do him in a scrap. I know he’s huge, he’s 6’4′ or something. But after much deliberation I concluded I’d take him. But to drive a ball 170 yards takes serious power. I’ve no stamina so if he lands one of them I’m in trouble. He’s a germaphobe tho, so if I spat at him he’d back up.

This is true. I played golf in my late teens and shots off the tee of 160-180 weren’t unheard of. I was rubbish with woods so stuck to my irons. Haven’t played in more than a decade now aside from pitch and putt and crazy golf though.
