Stop that.

This afternoon.

Iveagh Gardens, Dublin 2.

As the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon celebrates its 40th anniversary, 13 women (representing counties Dublin, Wicklow, Galway, Kildare and Sligo) who have taken part in the event every year since it began, came together to celebrate the milestone.

The 2022 Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon – a 10km leisurely stroll dash through Dublin City Centre – returns on Sunday June 5.

      Even less actually… (42,195 metres)

This is a complete clown race. The t-shirts …. 2019 running around with “2 hours, 6 minutes, and 19 seconds” on your back for a 10 km.

This year you’ll be showing a finishing time of, oh who cares….

I was banned from running in that once. Although it would have been more of a fast amble.

The theme that year was celebrating women in society, open to all. I misunderstood, I thought all included men who celebrated women in society. I was wrong. One of the few things that still annoys me, as it was the only such event I was interested in.

And I do mean that with full respect
