The Wait Is Over

This afternoon.

Spencer Place, North Wall Quay, North Dock, Dublin, 1

The launch of The Samuel hotel, featuring Irish TikTok sensations Cairde (top) and sweatshirted lovers of tragicomic literature (above).

Near his bridge, The Samuel pays homage to Beckett with references to the Dublin-born Nobel Laureate throughout the hotel.

Although what’s with the bowler?

He’s not Magritte.

FIGHT!

The Samuel hotels are an Israeli owned group
      They are fab
But strange the delata group is listed down as the owners
Maybe there might be a copyright battle
I would say busted and scatter with richly Boyd barret and the usual BDS mob will be outside with placards

    Fight?

About what? About Bodger running what can only be paid ads for a hotel that thinks we are dumb enough to think yet another hotel can pay homage to a literary great by what, selling hotel rooms for the night? Sticking up some quotes from his work?

    LOL

We don’t sell posts, Ian-Og, as you must know by now and I was poking fun at their cultured appropriation.

Why must I know? Why would I believe a single word you say these days?

You used to one of the good guys, now you have threads where people are openly accusing others of grooming children and you do NOTHING about it. You talk about SOQ being bullied yet say NOTHING when people hurl far worse at Nigel.

Actually you know what, good luck, I’m not sure if I can stomach being here anymore, gonna take a break from here and might be some time, what’s the point when about 1 in 3 of my posts just evaporate?

          ‘Why must I know?’

Sorry. Only we’ve responded to that question for years. The only things we get for posts are the prizes for the comps and whatnot.

one of the reviews mentions staying 3 nights as well. Unless they were freebies in return for positive reviews in advance of the public opening, we’ve got time-travellers on our hands.
