When one is stuck in for 2 years straight with one’s partner, one may reconsider the prospect of matrimony.

Yes I was thinking about that- has there been an increase in initiated divorce proceedings I wonder?

I would expect that for the unfortunates who’s marriages were on the rocks, it was a very long two years. Awful for any poor children locked up in such an environment.

And some whom during that period came to the conclusion that it was no longer worth it too I expect.

I know several couples in therapy or parting ways, it’s very sad

I can’t recall how old I was when I got married. I know I could work it out, but it is not important. I would have been early to mid 30s.
What I find funny about that is years later, after Little Slightly had turned up, she once espoused her thoughts on the nature of old. Apparently ‘Old’ was over 30. That was it, I was officially ancient, so :-)

And no, I will not comment on her mother’s age, then or now.

Old is in the eye of the Beh’old’er!

All youngesters think “over 30” is old until you hit it, same with 40 and 50. I only accepted my parents as old when they both hit mid 70’s.

I was 21 on my first marriage and a second in Ireland is just way too pricey, choice of a home or a wedding ? Living in sin it is.
