They’re not representative of Protestants, they’re a cabal of loyalist thugs who think joining a lodge and wearing orange bestows the honour of tradition upon them and this kind of thing is and has been their modus operandi.

The absolute dregs, nothing to offer only venom, poison and hate.

I hope they’re eviscerated for this.

I know Ferg, scrotes are atypical in almost every society. I just like to quote Fr Ted whenever I can

        1. Fergalito

Ah – didn’t spot the Fr. Ted quote!

Carry on then Sir … by all means … there’s a Ted quote for every scenario in life !

And it is these individuals that will bomb kill and destroy
The Northern Ireland protocol is unworkable and truly is the elephant in the room
What’s needed is a special concession that leaves the border alone
        No border checks at all
It’s not as though people smuggle everything through the border with buckets of cash
It’s not as though Ireland will be used as a back door for the UK to avoid tariffs
Just look at the port in Northern Ireland
They are hardly able to cope with everyone using them to smuggle the whole UKs trade with Europe
We need politicians that will go to the EU and tell the EU not to use Ireland as a battering ram against the UK because of brexit

      Stephen
Maybe there is truth in the matter that King Billy had a gay lover
Apparently the earl of Portland Hans bentinick was rumoured in the day as having a homosexual relationship with King Billy
So apparently orange was the new gay sorry gray

It’d be a shame if we let the actions of a few idiots tarnish the reputation of this reactionary, overtly-bigoted, sectarian organisation

Obviously a song well-rehearsed – not made up on the spot.

Nice clear pictures – I recognise a particular truck driver in it, and know the company he drives for. I’d be surprised if his driving trips will be as carefree in future as they have been up to now.

All those little lonely nights in your Portakabin didn’t go to waste then …

Hahahaha. Charger, who thinks Stobarts still ship into Dublin, does his little Mittyworld impression again.
Great local meme coverage of Betty by her subjects all the same. I wonder how the £10 an hour folk like seeing her waving over them and thinking of the £12m she paid out for her paedo, covid-suffering son.
Don’t forget to wave your little plastic jubilee flag out the bedside window now. Hahaha.
        Back of the net!
        Howzat!
        Strike!
        Etc.

Once, I had a brief insight into the truckers’ mores and lifestyle.
I was horrified to say the least at the rampant and unremitting sectarianism.
This doesn’t surprise me in the least.

I saw the Carlsberg on the table and had the same thought as you – I wonder if Carlsberg could have them up for defamation!

As GG says, this song wasn’t an adlib event – it has clearly been doing the rounds for some time.
The murder took place over ten years ago, so at a guess the song has been on the go for about the same period of time.
It’d make you wonder how many similar “songs” are doing the rounds but having yet made it to the internet.

The fact is that outside of a few holy Joes and rabid GAA fans this is a total non story. A few lads got drunk and sang a naughty song? Oy! Vey!* Grabs rosary beads

          1. Mad

Like I said a non story filling up really empty little heads like yours on a bank holiday Friday

          2. Fearganainm

Your inability to comprehend the nature of the incident and the repercussions among a wide range of people is pretty much par for the course for someone as clueless as you are. Anyone who can read can see how wide of the mark your pathetic ‘analysis’ is.

          3. Mad

As I said already – I’ll repeat it for a slow learner like yourself – no one gives a monkeys toss about this non story.

          4. Fearganainm

Obviously you’re not now, but was there ever any time in your life when you were relevant?

You could try rushing to correct all the people from various politicial parties and cultural and sporting organisations, along with numerous journalists, who’ve been commenting throughout the day on the story. Tell them that you think that it’s unimportant.

Don’t tell them that you’re stunningly ignorant though – let them guess.

          5. Mad

The only person looking for relevance here and failing to find it is the guy who posts 99 links a day and a bit of news ain’t one.

          6. Fearganainm

I suppose that you consider clashing with other posters and coming off worst every time, whilst manifesting your ignorance at the same time, is a day well spent?

          7. Fearganainm

Look, if it bothers you so much and makes you even more bitter, negative, irritated and unhappy then that’s just a bonus.

Ask yourself, what exactly can you say or do to influence whatever I do? The answer to that question will reveal to you just how potent you are.

Sectarian hatred in Norn Iron – where does it come from? What can be done to eliminate it? Pastor Barrie Halliday, a former member of the British army’s UDR, believes that he knows exactly what the problem is and he has a final solution:

Up to now, Pastor Barrie Halliday has not been arrested for hate speech…
