The mighty Weird Al Yankovic (and celebrity pals) redo Pharrell’s ‘Happy’ as a skit on poor taste and Robert Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ as a typographic diatribe against bad grammar.
It’s all part of his #8videosin8days project (a promo for his new album Mandatory Fun) which started on Monday.

I remember Al from the eighties, Like a Surgeon and Eat it spring to mind.
The Robin Thicke one is brilliant. The other one is standard weird Al fare, mildly amusing for 5 seconds and then the joke is old.

And I always appreciate a beat-down of Alanis Morissette’s ‘Ironic’ even after so long.
I really liked it up to the use of the word spastic.
I used spastic as an insult when I was in school
