Church writes cheques to abuse victims who are spared having to go through court – left wing media moan.

Church refuses to write cheques to victims who’ve already been compensated and insists they make their case in a court of law – left wing media moan.

Church reminds people that gay “marriage”, divorce and abortion are wrong – left wing media moans that church is above the law.

Muslims-only school in Goatstown and a new one being built in Clongriffin – left wing media silent.

I find the current AIB campaign rather conceited.

Of all the parasitic organizations the island has produced AIB must be the worst. In any other western country they would have been shut down long ago. But in Ireland they are ‘backing brave’. I wonder how brave all those customers they overcharged and lied to all those times consider AIB to be.

I find AIB an excellent bank to deal with.
My local branch has friendly cheerful staff plus efficient automated telling machines if you don’t wish to stop for a chinwag.
Mind you I’ve never been in debt and don’t have a mortgage so perhaps that’s why they’re so nice to me.

        Hey ho.

The fault is my own, dear boy. The bridle, stirrups, and lamentably, the safeword-unfriendly bit between my teeth were my idea alone. Tally-ho!

I had to explain compound interest to an investment adviser in AIB in Capel Street. She couldn’t grasp, or pretended not to grasp, that 10% after five years was a worse deal than 2% a year.

Agreed the IBEC stuff is very badly worded.

They’re so full of their own self importance that they think they’re above getting copy and design advice from an experienced professional.

Someone in IBEC thinks it’s great to spend a massive chunk of their members’ money on dinosaur advertising, yet skimps on the basics.

Nice Irish girls in brothels! Ha!

They aren’t forced into it. They are doing it for the cash money so they can continue to drink cans on maroubra beach on a Sunday afternoon.

Personally, is say they prefer it over the traffic management jobs.

I have no idea why you find it so amusing. No one would resort to working in a brothel unless things were pretty desperate. I seriously doubt it is a preference or lifestyle choice.

The sex industry is big business baby.No-one forces them to become whores and by all accounts the money is pretty damn good these days.
Of course the top earners here are East European rather than Irish because
        a. They’re not fat.
        b. They don’t wear too much make-up.
        c. They don’t do drugs.
        So I’m told.

          “So I’m told”. Ha.
You’re definitely paying for it anyway…You’ve the charm of a Rottweiler.
          (apologies administrators, no offence, like)

@ Flashman: Something tells me you have to resort to flashing it man. What made you such a bitter misogynist.

        3. Lilly

Don’t ‘baby’ me Mr Flash-excuse-for-a-man. Why does it come as no surprise that you’re an authority on brothels.

          1. Anne

            You tell him Lilly.

” Why does it come as no surprise that you’re an authority on brothels.”
Because he has the charm of a Rottweiler? :)
