      An ugly building that ‘sometimes’ might look nice, in the right light, if you squint? The wind bit… wisht..

         Yes…but… both Liberty Hall and Busarus are iconic buildings representing 1960s architecture. They have very redeeming features about them and deserve preservation.

               Thanks, you’re right – it was completed in 1953. A fantastic structure. he only thing wrong with public buildings of the 1950s and 1960s is that the public used them efficiently but didn’t warm to them, i.e. hurried in, hurried out.

            They might do, and they might be, but they dont, and they just plain dont.
            At best, a photo of these atrocities should be posted at the entrance to all architecture classes bearing the legend ” a lesson from history ”

   Siptu is a great building if they’d only replace those windows.
