Glastonbury For Your Dog

The Doggie Do.

Merrion Square, Dublin 2, September 12.

A veritable Woofstock in the heart of Georgian Dublin that YOU can help make happen (see Fundit link below)

The organisers, who hope to reach €12,000 in 28 days,  say:

We were inspired in great part by the annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade, an event that’s been taking place in New York City’s East Village for donkey’s years. What makes that event so special is not just the costumes it’s the sense of community among the dog-owners who just hang out, share shaggy-dog stories and just generally shoot the breeze. If you had a tail, it would be wagging. We wanted to bring a little of that spirit to Dublin, to open up the City to our paw-pals and give the ‘other’ members of our families a day out.

Agreed, plus their claws usually ladder the tights when you try to make them wear them.

Sounds great but my little Jakey would ruin it as he’s absolutely dogicidal around other pooches the adorable little psycho.

  2. Humans Eh!

An orgy of arse sniffing fun! a veritable ‘flea for all’

Would go but my loveable eejit would end up trying to fight/shag every other dog there.
    And he’d probably succeed!
So to enable others to enjoy, I shall abstain.
Have JCB offered to do the poop scooping?
