Ah lads, c’mon. The lack of proper reporting is because nobody wants to get sued. Fair enough, really. Nothing to do with bias.

There must be some truth in it for Lord Whatsit to say though. It will be interesting to see if Davey sues him though.

I can’t imagine Call Me Dave wants to go to court to disprove the allegations even if they are untrue.

What’s really interesting about the allegations is how easy it is to believe them.

I think he would if he thought he would win. But what if he doesn’t?

          Interesting and depressing…

totally agree, The Real Jane. Something remarkable about how everyone has reacted in a “Yeah, that makes sense.” sort of way.

The BBC only reports stories when they come from 2 verified sources. So it leads to an unusual situation where they can report the allegation but not the content of the allegation. It is good journalistic practice. Likewise, the Twitter thing. Twitter bring down hashtags when they are worried that they might be sued.

Again, not a cover up, just ass-covering.

Thanks for that comment, never thought about it that way before.

I’m conflicted though; your argument legitimises the censorship of twitter. In that particular case, it’s censoring non-journalists who are gossiping about what they read in the paper. Said censorship is hardly right, is it?

Ridiculous this. Who would have expected BBC news to give credence such a bizarre uncorroborated story from scorned a ex-colleague.

Yeah. It’s funny on twitter. But the Daily Mail report is like 4th hand information. The book mentions a story from an unnamed person who claims to have seen it.

The BBC are not gonna report on a 5h hand story that has been filtered through the bile of Dave’s (now) sworn enemy. They’re not Broadsheet!

Cameron is a raging psychopath of the highest order. He wanted to bomb the poo out of Syria years ago.

Fupp Cameron. Another war monger terrorist invading counties that are none o his ducking business.

If his buddies hadn’t bothered with Iraq, Syria and the World would be better. We could keep going back with ‘”If only the Brits hadn’t invaded …” for at least 800 years.

… a friend involved in politics in London has told me I shouldn’t miss Prime Ministers questions in Westminster this week…mind you, she told me that last week too…yawn.

    1. The Real Jane

Well since PMQs won’t be happening due to a hiatus for party conferences, I suspect their involvement doesn’t go too deep.
