Out TOMORROW
With post-production and VFX whatsit by Egg post-production and VFX facility in Dublin.
Emma Rooney, of Egg, writes:
Ghosthunters – an Irish, German and Austrian co-production, is produced by Ripple World Pictures here in Dublin. Our animation team led by Miguel A. Fuertes (Happy Feet, Casper, Jurassic Park) have created in Hugo (top) a bold new animated hero who oozes charm and charisma.
In all, we had a team of 50 artists create 323 VFX shots over 16 months of production. And 1,136,876 rendered frames later we are finally seeing its release on Irish soil.
We are extremely proud of the standard of work on Ghosthunters on Icy Trails. Not only is it a huge feat for such a small company, but the quality of the animation allows us to compete in International markets which in turn will help build a sustainable industry here in Ireland.
