Did everyone else know this was a thing? I’m not much a gin drinker (I dabbled around the time of Snoop Dogg’s Gin & Juice) so it could just have passed me by, but there’s an application in the Trade Mark office in Ireland for this, Bertha’s Revenge Small Batch Irish Milk Gin…
Hic.

gin is a thing
I’ve had it. Its nice though my knowledge of gin is minimal. It also won some awards. Someone explained it to me when I was drunk, the alcohol is a by-product of doing something to the milk, making cheese? no idea, something anyway. It all made perfect sense though I was quite drunk.
launched just before Christmas. excellent it is too! made from whey. named after the famous cow that held the record for the most calves in their lifetime. she is stuffed and does panto and was there at the launch. besides juniper the botanicals include grapefruit, bitter orange and some foraged ingredients from Ballyvolane house such as Woodruff and Alexander.

Remember : Whiskey makes you frisky,
Brandy makes you randy,
Gin makes you projectile vomit over babies at their christening*
*By you, I mean me. Scenario may or may not have happened depending on who you are talking to.
I got married at Ballyvolane house. All the fruit and veg comes from their walled garden and all meats are either from their farm or sourced locally, within a few miles. The food is exceptional. I’d say this gin is going to be delicious and I’m looking forward to trying it.
