I think that’s what brings it from being merely puerile into the realm of being actively irritating. It is moronic, humourless and done seemingly without the least trace of irony. It is the equivalent fodder for people who like to believe themselves to be a little edgy as pictures of bottle-sized wine glasses with captions about only having one glass a day are to a certain type of middle-aged women.
