Not at all – remember, this bed allows you to use the ceiling for leverage ;)

(I used to live in a flatshare with one of these – very handy if you have high ceilings but not much space. Common enough on the continent).

I never had that problem :(

            – I guess I am not as energetic a lover as you

(it’s true that this particular one looks a bit bockety).

I guess for certain manoeuvres but not so much for others..

I shall defer to your expert knowledge of the subject!

Cork is a joke at the moment. Renting is so expensive.
Very little building going on bar in the middle of nowhere or the few 350k plus new houses in the suburbs.
Saw a new estate in Midleton go up for sale, just sites, 130k. 15km from Cork.

Oh you can get a reasonable house all right, if you want to commute 60/70km ew a day.

Nobody cares about Cork. We only care about the area between Camden Street, Grand Canal down to Googletown and Dublin 4. Occasionally Dublin 7 when referring to arty types and earnest squatters.

    @ Mattress Mick;
Mick, me oul’ mucker, I’m having difficulty accessing your website from work. It works no problem when I’m at home, but I tried just now during me morning break and it isn’t working.
Is your site down or do I have a browser problem? Answer ASAP please. I’m due back in 7 minutes.

      Only messing, [FAKE] Mattress Mick.
      I’m just jealous of you.

What’s it like, not going into moderation automatically for between 2 minutes and 8 hours at a time for no fathomable reason? It must be thrilling to be able to participate in real-time. I doubt that I could handle that sort of pressure myself though. It’s been so long. and real-time sounds so fast.
I asked Mr. Broadsheet several times to fix it, but he doesn’t know how. No, seriously, he doesn’t know how. I believe him. Sure why would he lie? I bet it’s incredibly difficult and could take up to 15 seconds or more if you had to do it alone.

      But yeah, I’m jealous.

No regulation required at all in the rental sector…landlords are so sound, nice bunch of people, they would never take the pi*s out of people. Speaking of which you could nearly take a piss, make the bed and watch tv all at once in this place…. all mod cons!

    “delighted”

    I fuppin’ bet they are

It’s OK though, the free market will fix it. The free market will fix everything. The free market will make it so nobody is ever sad ever again.

Clearly, someone owns that unit so they are morally obliged to rent it out at rates beyond the dreams of avarice with minimal investment in providing even minimum standards of decency.
