The second series of The Local Eye starts on RTÉ One following the fortunes of three new local newspapers – The Donegal Post, The Nenagh Guardian and Mrs Brown’s favourite paper, The Northside People.

the northside people is a freesheet not really a local paper, no courts etc.

The Nenagh Guardian is about 180 years old, not “new”. Donegal Post is newer but still around a while.
